From a flight school office
buried in spreadsheets.
Hilo came from a flight school office buried in spreadsheets, scheduling conflicts, and manual workarounds — where the tools running the operation were actually running the operator.
Our founders have been involved in building multiple flight schools from the ground up. As the schools grew, so did the chaos. Scheduling in one system. Training records in another. Maintenance on paper. Student progress pieced together from memory.
Aviation didn't need another tool. It needed an operating system — built by people who actually understood the operation. So that's what we built.
That's how Hilo was born.
